The GIVER routine

Gratitude for my mother, having a child like joy ,getting ready coming out to have an ice cream with her grandson.
Thank you for being there...

The path to health is path to being mentally strong, asking for help when you require it.
Being humble.
Being consistent.
Ready to learn
Ready to change your thoughts, Reading new self development books. Observing yourself.

I have a lot of gratitude for the wonderful teachers I have in my life ,spiritual and yogic.
Spirituality is about accepting yourself as you are, loving yourself. Enhancing your self, being humble, being of help to others, being in comfort and in the space of love and joy with all your family members..  Being in gratitude for your job , your surroundings and for all the people around. Spirituality is about finding that one thing that you can help others completely free ..
Having a lot of trust and faith in your Guru's.

Last 4 months I have worked on these 5 routine habits and sharing what I learnt ..

It's important to develop these 5 habits every day.

G - gratitude to all that I have. My ancestors, my health, my environment, the house , the teachers who helped me , the money that helped me buy and live the life I am living today, the running water ,the electricity, the joy of relationships , the food that eat, the convenience of heating , convenience of a car.. For gratitude please buy and start reading and practicing the 28 day book _"The magic  " by Rhonda Byrne _

 Say my  Affirmations for myself.

I - imagination - unless you imagine what you want where you want to be . That is imagine your good health. Imagine a beautiful person you are ..

V- Visualise anything to the very small detail, the place , the colours  on what are all the things you are doing with the good health you have ... As if it's already happening.. as you keep doing you will find it .. it's free visualise your life.
Please listen or read " the secret " by earl nightingale.

E- initially it's difficult to start exercising, as we have not done it for sometime. Find a space like registering for swimming , or badminton, cycling , running  or any game that you like .. you will have good company and you learn to do it slowly and gracefully
Also when you do it as team you turn up .

E -Eating  right ..for many is very emotional, a sense of self love , when you profess love to yourself by indulging.. when you start regular exercise, you will observe the same hormones being generated . Focus on self love and gratitude. Create space for trekking experiences and writing , reading new books ... Enjoy the art of cooking your meals and having the right food and in moderation. You have enough time. Spend more time outside go for a walk whenever you feel emotionally down or unhappy , do pranayama, do affirmations for yourself that you are strong inside and out. There are many on self love . Listen to Shivani or sadguru.

R - Reading , reading good books helps you heal internally , does self work , self development. There are many many books today.
Few of them i can quote here which i am reading atleast a few pages or lines everyday.
Magic by Rhonda Byrne
You can heal your life by Louise hay
Psycho- Cybernetics and self fullfillment by Maxwell maltz...
Will share many more..

Greens (கீரை/ఆకు కూర) Curry

KEERAI KOOTU ( Recipe serves 5 ) Keerai kootu as it is called in Tamil nadu got my fancy as its tasty and is nature cure compliant. An easy to make and a very tasty rich dish, can be eaten with millets/ rice or vegetable dosa or even a vegetable chappati. Indegenious rice like Rajamudi rice,Thoyamali rice tastes very good. Keerai or Greens can be anything like Palak, Amaranthus Vareities ( Sirri keerai, Thandu keerai, Arrai Keerai ), Ceylon spinach. Take 200 ml water in a pot boil well. Added 1/2 inch shredded ginger and  jeera powder. Wash and finely chop 2 bundles of palak ( roughly 500gm ) and add to boiling water. Cover and keep in high for just 2 min. Switch off the gas and do not open lid for 10 min. After this no cooking only blending and mixing. Remove the leaves and cool. Puree the palak and add to the remaining hot water in the pot. Also add chopped boiled potatoes 2 or 3 (About 300gms ). Always keep pot covered. Mixie half coconut with green chilli, lots of curry ...

Simple hair care

Aa.... A topic that is so touchy for many. I remember as a child my parents telling me the best way to take care of your hair is apply coconut oil and wash with Reetha / Shikkakai. I was like mom what do you understand the pains of combing the hair.. Hair is so frizzy and the struggles went on to breaking and hair thinning etc...  Went on to try the so called so many conditioners... I noticed it helped temporarily and definately did not feel good by the 2nd day ... 😏  Finally came to a point of balding. Tried even the onion juice , hair creams and infused oils, and lastly tried out even the ayurvedic brands like vedix. etc... All these trials made me think more ... In these trials I understood self made hair creams worked ... Reetha and shikkai worked ... But how much care do we need for the scalp and hair I went on to experiment... And the following helped... Will explain the why and the science behind it too... 1) Being on the nature cure way of life helped as we eat ...
